Output develops innovative software for musicians, composers, producers and sound designers. After raising their Series A, they needed to grow their small three-person design team quickly.
Working closely with Output's leadership team, Academy helped fill skill gaps in the company's design team and recruited a new Head of Design. With Academy's assistance, Output established a top-tier Product Design team, comprising talent from organizations such as Nike, Ueno, Splice, Frame.io, and Working Not Working. Our team played a critical role in building a skilled and diverse design team, driving Output's success.
Output has worked with the Academy team for a number of years. As a small but quickly growing company, we needed a partner that was embedded in the design community, whose reach was vast and someone that could quickly assess our team needs and know where to turn for talent. Academy has been that partner to us. A good portion of our Design team at Output is a result of the work that Academy did sourcing, screening and presenting us viable candidates. We now have a thriving design team that we are proud of and know that we wouldn't have them if it weren't for Adam and the Academy team
