Yup, if you can believe it we have not really set foot in an office for several years. Sometimes it’s important for people to get some face time so at times our clients ask our people to join them in person but we don’t make it an everyday thing.

Adam Perlis
CEO
Adam Perlis is the CEO and Founder of Academy, a UX agency that provides customized and flexible resources to clients who need studio teams, contractors, or full-time staff.
He is the former Head of Product Design @ TIME Magazine, AKQA, BASIC/DEPT, B-reel and AT&T AdWorks Lab. His award-winning work has been featured on Awwwards, The FWA, and TechCrunch.
He has been a speaker at SXSW, Web Summit, Northside Festival, Fifteen Second Festival, Tech Open Air. With over 15 years of experience in the design and technology industry, he has worked with leading brands such as Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, American Express, Verizon, AT&T, and Wish, as well as innovative startups and nonprofits.
He also has served on the InVision Design Leadership Forum, DesignBetter.co Instructor, Working Not Working Members Board, Rutgers University Design Thinking Advisory Board, and as a guest lecturer at General Assembly.
In the founding of Academy, Adam has trained his entire team in the field of UX to become expert recruiters and career coaches.
He is not just an advisor; his insights extend to writing about UX, speaking at conferences, and hosting the popular podcast, "How We Scaled It for Design Teams." In his role as a UX Advisor, Adam excels in offering expert guidance to startups, emerging companies, and UX leaders. Combining the roles of a leadership coach, strategist, and high-level contributor, he is likened to a Swiss Army knife for teams.
Adam is also a recognized thought leader in the UX space, creating content that informs and inspires industry leaders, teams, and talents. His contributions span various media, including social media, YouTube, and podcasts, focusing on sharing industry expertise and insights.
