A Look Into the Future

Introduction

A Look Into the Future was an exercise in interface design, feasibility, usability, visual design and art direction. Our team wrote, edited, produced, designed, and animated this forward-looking vision piece.

Problem

Advertising Media Buyers were having trouble envisioning what the future might be like for their jobs, after all they were accustomed to using a system like the DSP you see below. We set out to show them what it could look like. After conducting research among industry experts, we designed a dream interface that only movie-magic could bring to life.

We run a 5 day concept driven Design Sprint that uses Design Thinking in cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and test solutions with users.

Detailed Design Sprint

We create design language systems to scale and work through complex user journeys to ensure all scenarios are accounted for tested prior to launch.


Solution

After testing out multiple interfaces with the executives we landed on a standing touch interface with the ability to manipulate data and targeted ads in real-time. The result was a video produced to imagine what the future could be.
